No Magnetic Interference
This benefit can make a huge difference for those who have a 5.1 surround sound speaker system at home. Traditional bulky CRT TVs are affected by magnetic interference, so for example if sited next to a sub woofer or any other speaker (all speakers contain a magnet within) the image can be distorted along with the colour purity. RELISYS plasmas do not suffer from this interference, thus replicating the home cinema experience, as it should be. This is also hugely beneficial for public display whether it be shopping centres or train stations, where speakers are situated in many areas for public announcements.
Integrated Digital DVB-T tuner
The integrated DVB-T tuner lets you receive Digital Terrestrial TV to watch or record. This means you do not need an additional set top box or additional cables.
HD Ready
Enjoy the exceptional picture quality of a true High Definition TV signal and be fully prepared for HD sources like HDTV broadcast, Blu-ray DVD or HDVD. HD ready is a protected label that offers picture quality beyond that of progressive scan. It conforms to strict standards laid out by EICTA to offer an HD screen that displays the benefits of resolution and picture quality of a High Definition TV signal. It has a universal connection for both analogue YPbPr and uncompressed Digital connection of DVI or HDMI, supporting HDCP. It can display 720p, and 1080i signals at 50 and 60Hz.
Fanless
All RELISYS plasmas incorporate fanless technology. The plasmas use specially designed heat sinks to cool the components on the plasma, rather than fans, as many other plasmas do. Because no fans are actually used, there is no annoying background noise, distracting from the presentation or film being watched.
DCTI
This is a form of digital image enhancement. Digital Colour Transient Improvement (DCTI) allows for edges of colour to be smoothed out so that they're more distinct, and colours, which are side by side to each other, are more precisely reproduced. DCTI also minimises colour smear along the vertical edges of bright-colour areas.
HDMI input
HDMI makes an uncompressed digital RGB connection from the source to the screen. By eliminating any conversion to an analogue signal, it delivers an unblemished image. The non-degraded signal delivers reduced flicker and leads to a clearer picture. HDMI will intelligently communicate the highest output resolution with the source device. The HDMI input is fully backward compatible with DVI sources but includes digital audio. HDMI uses HDCP copy protection.
